4th Verona Expert Meeting: Update in HPB Surgery IASGO Postgraduate Course

The topic of the meeting will be “Update in HPB surgery”. We are proud that the meeting will have the endorsement of both the IASGO and the AICEP. In the last decade, several new technologies and medical therapies have been
introduced in HPB surgery modifying and improving the approach to the different liver and biliary diseases. During the meeting, international experts will present
the current developments in HPB surgery.
The Verona International Expert Meeting is an exciting event to attend and discuss the latest scientific advances. Different disease stages and clinical scenarios will be discussed exploring the most up-dated treatments, the efficacy of the new target therapies, and the impact of the new technologies.
The IASGO and AICEP postgraduate course titled “Gallbladder and Bile duct lithiasis: old disease with innovative solutions” will take place in the morning of October 20th. During the postgraduate course, national and international experts will present their experience and debate on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the complications of gallbladder and bile duct lithiasis. As well known, gallbladder and bile duct lithiasis are common diseases but nowadays new and innovative approaches have been introduced. For this reason, this postgraduate course is addressed to surgeon who wants to increase their knowledge on this fundamental biliary surgery.

• Belong to the discipline for which the event was accredited;
• Take the online assessment test by October 24th, 2022.
The test will be passed upon successful completion of 75% of the questions;
• Have attended 90% of the accredited training hours
