Cholangiocarcinoma represents one of the most complex and challenging diseases in oncology today, due to its rarity, biological heterogeneity, aggressiveness, and limited therapeutic options.

Despite these obstacles, scientific research and clinical practice are making significant progress, thanks to the synergistic collaboration between clinicians, researchers, patients, and associations.

On the occasion of Cholangiocarcinoma Day 2026, this international single-topic expert meeting is organized with the aim of providing a platform for discussion, updating, and interdisciplinary collaboration, entirely dedicated to this rare but increasingly prevalent neoplasm. Basic scientists, oncologists, gastroenterologist and surgeons will share and discuss innovations and advances.

For the first time, the congress is held in close collaboration with APIC (Italian Association of Cholangiocarcinoma Patients), an organization actively promoting awareness, support, and advocacy for patients affected by this disease. Their active participation is a fundamental element for a truly patient-centered and integrated approach.
